At the School for Entrepreneurship & Technology (SET High), we prepare students to thrive both personally and professionally in an increasingly global, technology-driven society. We teach UC A-G courses and college classes on campus in addition to a wide variety of electives, all of which build a strong foundation in our students as they work to accomplish their dreams.
Many of the key lessons students need to learn in order to thrive in the world of the future reach far beyond standards-based curriculum. This is why we teach far more to our students than the A-G courses needed to graduate. With a deep understanding of what is needed to thrive in this ever-changing world, we meet our students’ curiosities with inspiring opportunities and feed their passions with all the fuel they need to reach their goals. SET High students develop confidence, discernment, and follow through. They are making waves and using innovative thinking to change the world for the better.
An Excellent Foundation
Students at SET receive an excellent academic foundation that is rooted in real-world experience, driven by the businesses and industries our students show the most interest in. We teach a wide variety of courses focused on Entrepreneurship and Technology which currently include Systems Administration, Robotics, Computer Science, 3D graphics, and engineering classes. Marketing and Leadership classes are also high on the list of student favorites, and these tie in with our Passion Talks which are delivered to the entire school once a month by an inspiring, successful member of the San Diego business community.

Rigorous & Relevant Curriculum in a Changing World
Our teachers at SET High are excellent educators with endlessly big hearts that are dedicated to uplifting our students. We stay consistently supportive while pushing our students to learn and actively apply our rigorous curriculum to their life pursuits.
SET High instruction combines core curriculum with a hands-on, project-based teaching approach to encourage students to solve real world problems. All students are required to participate in an internship with an outside business in order to graduate, and we encourage 150 hours of community service. These are some of the most important ways to stay relevant in our changing world – by participating and learning directly from our community of business leaders and entrepreneurs in and around San Diego, Ca.
