Before You Even Start
Our support begins before school does. Shadow days allow prospective students to experience a typical day at SET High, getting familiar with our campus and amazing electives. New Student Orientation helps incoming 9th graders meet classmates and connect with current students who share their experiences and answer questions. Missed this? Shadow days can happen any day as connections are everyday here!
Building Community from Week One
Our overnight 9th Grade Retreat during the first week transforms strangers into friends. Students bond, laugh, and begin experiencing “the SET Way”: our close-knit, supportive community where everyone belongs and no cliques exist.
Personalized Guidance
Every 9th grader receives an advisory teacher who works with students throughout the year, helping design personalized learning paths and providing consistent support. The end of 9th grade doesn’t mean the support stops. You have an advisor helping you every year through graduation.
Leadership and Belonging
Through Leadership SET Style, 9th graders get introduced to passion projects while building essential life skills. Combined with our diverse clubs – from Battlebots to Film Production – and CIF sports opportunities, every student finds their place.
