01 Jan Travis Ashe

Hello. My name is Travis Ashe and I teach Earth Science and Engineering, Physics, and Chemistry. From an early age, I have been curious about the physical and biological environments surrounding me. I attended the University of Washington and majored in Microbiology. Prior to teaching, I worked as a research technician and laboratory manager in a neurogenetics laboratory, and a nanotechnology biotech startup. I am excited to teach science at SET. Science education is an exciting field to be in, and I look forward to encouraging students to investigate and explore the natural and artificial environments surrounding them.
