SET High School Named a 2019 California Distinguished School
One of Only Four San Diego High Schools to Receive the Honor
SET High School (The School for Entrepreneurship & Technology) was among the list of schools recently honored under the 2019 California Distinguished Schools program, which recognizes outstanding education programs and practices. Schools are awarded for achieving exceptional student performance for two consecutive school years or closing the achievement gap between two school years.
“We are honored to be one of the few schools in San Diego to be named a California Distinguished School. Our students and staff have done amazing work and it is gratifying to have their accomplishments recognized,” said SET High School principal, Neil McCurdy. “Students choose to attend SET High, enticed by its small school environment where no child gets lost or ignored. At SET, every student feels comfortable going up to a teacher or principal for any kind of help.”
