San Diego Native, Trish(a) Domingo, graduated from University of San Diego High School and went on to be a Banana Slug at UC Santa Cruz. After graduating, she dabbled in the broadcast journalism world only to realize that she missed working in the building industry.
As the office manager and building permit processor for her father’s engineering firm, she drafted, executed, and managed all large contracts and communications with clients nationwide and local while managing all AP/AR and HR. Later, she went into the internet cafe business with her former husband, co-owning a location in Ventura county and San Diego. There, she built computers, servers, built networks, and managed the marketing and business side of the office.
While running the family businesses, she volunteered her time at her church, served as Treasurer for Tierrasanta Junior Women’s Club, and GS Service Unit Co-manager for Tierrasanta Girl Scouts. She managed her kids’s soccer club teams and was VP Ways and Means of her kids’s school PTA for several years, raising thousands of dollars for the school and her community. Through the years, she has received many awards for her leadership.
It is only fitting that she would take on the marketing, fundraising, and recruiting challenge at SET. As Yearbook Club and NewsDay Tuesday advisor, she loves working with her very creative, quirky, and talented SET students.
When she’s not working or volunteering, you can find her reading a book, listening to old school hip hop, watching anime with her kids, screaming at a soccer or lacrosse game, and posting on her Frencie’s Instagram.
