In May 2018, SET High began a new community service and fundraising tradition called MayMatters. This schoolwide initiative invites students and their friends and family to participate and demonstrate two key pillars of SET High–entrepreneurship and social responsibility.

On this page you will find SET High’s partner charities for 2018. Each participating SET High student has selected a charity of their choice for a May service day and to raise money for both the school and their charity of choice (each receives 1/2 of the funds raised).

We are asking you to support this effort by giving to your student’s charity in recognition of their service to these worthy causes. You are also invited to join your student at their charity on their May service day and work side-by-side with them and the SET High school family.

We thank you for your support of this effort and your continued support of SET High and its students.

How it Works

  1. Pick one or more charities to support and register for one or more service days in May.
  2. Contact friends and family to sponsor your effort and let them know about the MayMatters fundraising Web site at Ask them to donate dollars for every hour that you work. Your friends and family can also donate their time and join you on your service day.
  3. Show up and serve! The charity of choice will get your great work on your service day and half of all funds raised by you. The other half of the funds raised will go to SET High to continue funding our school programs.

Don’t miss this fun opportunity to work with classmates, friends, and family on a weekend in May. Help those in need and raise money for social causes and our school. Plus, fulfill your community service requirement!
